About Us - The Pitt Theatre Philosophy

Picture

We've been in business since 1939 and, call us old fashioned, but we still
believe that going to the movies is a special event.  How do we make it special?

By doing some very simple things...

Entertaining Pre-shows...

At the Pitt you we don't just sell you a ticket, we give you an experience.  Our pre-show begins sometime after the doors open, and is full of trailers coming soon. Starting at 7:30pm are our favorite trailers that we know you won't want to miss! There's still only three trailers before each movie after showtime, so don't be late!   No matter what, there is something for everyone at the movies. Our pre-show is presented by Screen Vision Media, and our trailers are hand-picked for each film.

Spotless bathrooms...(seriously!)

It seems that bathroom cleaning has fallen off the radar at many of the major movie chains.  At the Pitt you will always find the bathrooms to be spotless and clean.  No graffiti, no mess, everything works.

Reasonable pricing...(dare to compare!)

Are you tired of paying over ten bucks for a movie?  How about blowing fifty bucks for a night our for two at a major movie chain?  Not at the Pitt.  We believe that a night out at the movie shouldn't cost you a second mortgage.  Learn more about our rates below.

We care...(because we live here too!)

If you have an issue, please visit our Contact Us, post on our Facebook page, or speak with the theater manager during show hours and we'll attend to the issue immediately.  Have an idea of what would make the Pitt better?  Please tell us!  We are small town theatre, locally owned and operated.  We survive by keeping our customers (who are our neighbors!) happy.

Private events and parties...(have some fun...your way!)

Private events and parties are our specialty.  We love to open the theatre during non show hours for all kinds of events.  Whether you'd like to see a private show of the films we are currently screening, watch your favorite DVD on the big screen with your special someone, give a business presentation, host a meeting, or have a gaming tournament, just ask!  Visit our events page for more details.

Rates and Showtimes...

Our films show nightly at 7:30 pm on both screens.  We will not be offering 3 pm matinees on Sunday, or FAMILY NIGHT PRICING on Mondays and Tuesdays for the time being. From time to time, we also add extra show times for hit films and other events.  We like to stay predictable, but we do recommend that you follow us on Facebook, or visit our home page before arriving!

Monday through Sunday - 7:30pm Regular Showtime Rates:
Adults - $9.25
Seniors (65+) - $6.50
Children (under 11) - $6.50

We accept all major credit cards.
